The Bloomberg Customer Support Spring Insight Week is designed to introduce participants to Bloomberg work (focusing on the BCS department) and culture, connect them to communities and employees, build their professional skills, and explore future opportunities available. Successful participants will be offered fast-track interviews for a 2022 internship or a Full Time role.

What is BCS?

Bloomberg Customer Support is responsible for the installation, connection, hardware management and workflow support of terminal clients over the phone and via Bloomberg Instant Messaging. Each representative assists fast-paced clients operating in Capital Markets, Asset Management and Financial Services by installing the Bloomberg software and configuring proprietary hardware, such as keyboards and biometrics. Moreover, as automation continues to grow in the industry, Bloomberg is adapting to understand clients' technological needs. They solve clients' software issues, and they understand how it relates to their workflows and asset-class needs. Working with sensitive information and highly sophisticated tools, Bloomber ensure the security of clients' accounts and data.

Secondly, the teams communicates with clients, including CEOs and executive managers with access to proprietary data and information. The company set-up, train, and connect its clients to the various Bloomberg products and platforms they subscribe to. 500 person strong global team supports clients collectively in more than 18 languages.

Requirements and application

• If interested in joining, candidates will need to:
• Be a current university student and graduate from all studies in 2023
• Be available to attend the insight week in Early April 2021
• Be fluent in English, as well as Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish
• Willingness to learn new technologies and ability to retain information
• Have an interest in pursuing a career in finance and fintech
• An interest in progressing a career within Bloomberg
