Terms of Use:
- Use of the site tsm-connect.fr implies agreement with the terms of use found herein.
- The user of the site acknowledges that he or she possesses the necessary means and competence to access this site, and that he or she has taken it upon themselves to verify that the computer configuration being used does not contain any viruses and that it is in good working order.
- The user must be a graduate, a student, or a faculty member of the Toulouse School of Management, and have at their disposal an email address and valid date of birth in order to activate their account and make full use of the site.
- Anonymous visitors may access the site, as well as view articles and public events; however, they may not view profiles, post comments or participate in discussions.
- The user agrees not to use an alias or email address that could infringe upon the rights of other parties (family name, brand, etc.) or to usurp a name, a company name, or a registered trademark.
- Any of the text, software, images, videos, databases, or other content contained on this site are the exclusive property of the Toulouse School of Management, and are only intended for people who have contributed to Up! Services. They are protected by the Intellectual Property Code. The user of this site undertakes not to reproduce them, in either full or part, without the express consent of the Toulouse School of Management, in accordance with Article L. 122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
- The user of the site promises to the Toulouse School of Management that he or she has the necessary rights, including all of the intellectual property rights concerning testimonials, comments, images, and data of any kind, to share such information in a public forum.
- The user freely and expressly agrees that his or her testimonials and comments will be reproduced and/or represented in the communication material used to promote the Toulouse School of Management or the Toulouse School of Management’s Alumni Association throughout the legally protected duration of these comments and testimonials.
- The messages and images posted to the site fall under the responsibility of their author, who undertakes to assume all responsibility for them, and therefore all of the related consequences that may arise. In particular, the author of the messages assures that the Toulouse School of Management is not responsible for any actions undertaken by third parties that have a cause, foundation, or origin stemming from the content of his or her message. He or she therefore undertakes to bear the costs of the related convictions or penalties or any other kind of additional settlements owed in the context of such disputes. The representatives of the site decline any responsibility for the content of the messages posted by the users.
- Registration to the site is done via the simple, free activation of a student or alumni account. Signing up for the site implies agreement to the terms of use expressed herein.
- Every member of the site is responsible for the personal account assigned to him or her, beginning on the date of activation. It is the account holder’s duty to keep their account security information confidential and to not divulge it to any other person. All actions performed under this account are archived and can be used in the case of a dispute. In order to respect the confidentiality of these identifying elements, the account holder assures:
- that he or she will not share the login details provided by the Toulouse School of Management.
- that he or she will notify the Toulouse School of Management without delay in the event that the login details have become lost or stolen, via registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.
The account holder understands that the Toulouse School of Management will carry out random compliance checks with respect to these confidentiality terms, in particular around the matter of the IP address that is used to connect to the site. As examples, an abnormally high number of differing IP address origins from a single user account, or an abnormally high number of page openings connected to a single IP address will suffice to demonstrate a breach by the account holder of his obligations, and thereby justify the immediate suspension of the service for them.
- Unauthorized access to all or part of the TSM Connect web site is an offense punishable under Articles 323-1 to 323-7 of the Criminal Code. Such fraudulent access is, in particular, punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 60,000 euros (Article 323-1 of the Criminal Code).
- The Toulouse School of Management reserves the right, without justification, to refuse access to the tsm-connect.fr site to any person deemed to be harming the image of the network.
Usage Policy:
- As much as possible, the testimonials and comments should be written in French, so as to be more easily understood by the wide community of Francophone members and visitors. Otherwise, the moderator reserves the right to have your text translated (if another member or visitor has not already done so!).
- To make site navigation and reading of the testimonials easier for users, choose an explicit title to go along with the content of your testimonial. Also, consider putting your subject into a geographical context. These simple efforts in addition to the anecdotes and sentiments you convey offer enormous added value to the network.
- For the benefit of and out of respect to everyone, the following are prohibited: messages of an abusive, offensive, obscene, or defamatory nature; content that violates the rights of others; violent remarks or those that may be deemed racist, pornographic, or relating to paedophilia or crimes and misdemeanours; using the site for propaganda, commercial prospecting, or political purposes.
- The moderator undertakes not to interfere with the messages in any way that could alter their meaning. However, the moderator reserves the right to remove any message that is blatantly inappropriate.
- Users may report any disturbing messages to the moderator. The moderator may remove, without any notice, any message that fails to respect the conditions set herein.
- The moderator is free to ban any user found to be abusing his or her freedom of expression: engaging in systematic and non-objective criticism of other community members, publishing content or messages that negatively affect the atmosphere of the community, spamming or unlawful acts.
- The Toulouse School of Management undertakes to take particular care concerning the accuracy of the information that is exchanged on the site, as well as to keep the content regularly updated. However, it is possible that errors and omissions may occur. In such cases, we would be grateful if you could notify us so that we can make the necessary corrections or modifications.
- The Toulouse School of Management does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the site, particularly in the events of site maintenance or repairs being performed, or an unanticipated disruption of the internet connection. We cannot be held responsible for technical failures, loss of data, or any other type of indirect damage arising from or related to the use of the site.
