The coronavirus crisis has resulted in the cancellation or interruption of several internships: as a result, many students have been denied the corresponding rewards.
Faced with this situation, UT Capitol decided to set up a system of partial compensation for the revenue lost as a result of the cancellation or interruption of these internships. This system only applies to compulsory internships of more than two months whose agreement has been validated by the institution.
The compensation request must be made before June 22, 2020.
If the student has found a new internship that is evidenced by a new internship agreement, he or she is not eligible for this aid. If, in this case, the aid has already been paid, it will be reimbursed.
For students whose internship was to take place in France, the amount of aid is defined as follows, based on the number of full months of internship cancelled
Number of full months of internship cancelled | Amount of aid |
2 months | 400 euros |
3 months | 500 euros |
4 months | 600 euros |
5 months | 700 euros |
6 months | 800 euros |
Students on internships abroad: As the rewards vary greatly depending on the country, the packages proposed above are ceilings. If the planned bonus is less than €600, the allowance will be paid according to the actual bonus certified in the initial internship agreement.
